What this site does not do. It sets no cookies and uses no local storage, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, forms or content embedded from other sites. Fonts, images and documents are served from this site. Links to LinkedIn take you to LinkedIn, where LinkedIn’s own privacy policy applies; nothing is sent to LinkedIn unless you click.
Visiting the site. To deliver each page, the server needs your IP address and the details your browser sends with the request: the page requested, your browser type and the page you came from. I use them only to deliver the site and keep it secure, which is my legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The site is hosted by bunny.net (BunnyWay, informacijske storitve d.o.o., Ljubljana, Slovenia), which acts as my processor under a data processing agreement. I have set it to store and deliver the site only from locations in the European Union, so this data does not leave the EU. bunny.net’s servers hold these details in memory for 20 to 30 seconds and then pass them to its central processing service in the EU, which it uses to run and secure its network. Access logs are switched off, so no record of your visit is kept for me.
Email. If you write to giuseppe@pancucci.pro, your message and contact details are held in Microsoft 365, which Microsoft provides as my processor. Microsoft stores and processes email in the European Union and EFTA under its EU Data Boundary commitments. Its email security service, which checks messages for malicious links and attachments, may analyse and store data in the United States. This and other limited transfers, such as for support, are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and by Microsoft’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. I use your message only to reply and to follow up on what you asked, including a request to test the model on a portfolio. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering professional enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). I keep correspondence while the conversation or any resulting work continues, and delete it within 24 months of our last exchange unless the law requires longer.
Who receives your data. Only bunny.net and Microsoft, as my processors. I do not sell or share personal data, and I do not use it for marketing.
Your rights. You can ask for access to your personal data and for its correction or erasure. You can ask me to restrict its use or object to it and, where the law gives you that right, receive it in a portable format. Write to giuseppe@pancucci.pro. If you think your data has been mishandled, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (www.dataprotection.ie) or to the supervisory authority where you live.
No automated decisions. No decision about you is made by automated means, and no profiling takes place.
